BOOKING A HUNT

A: All bookings are handled securely online through HuntPay, our trusted payment and booking platform. Simply choose your hunt, follow the checkout process, and you’re all set. You’ll receive confirmation via email, and our team will follow up with hunt details.


A: We accept all major credit cards and debit cards through HuntPay. You’ll also be able to view and pay invoices, sign waivers, and manage your booking all in one place.


A: Deposits are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, please contact us as early as possible - rescheduling is at our discretion based on availability.


TRAVEL & LOGISTICS

A: Arrival time will vary depending on species and scouting conditions. You’ll receive detailed instructions in advance, including where and when to meet your guide.


A: Lodging is available depending on the hunt package. Please review the specific hunt details when booking or contact us for assistance.


A: Yes, well-trained retrievers are welcome! Please let us know in advance so we can accommodate you and your pup appropriately.

Indoor and outdoor kennels are available with lodging.


A: Firearm rentals and ammunition may be available upon request—please reach out ahead of time to confirm availability and reserve what you need.

LICENSE & REGULATIONS

A: Leg Iron Outfitters specializes in duck and goose hunts including specklebelly, snow geese, and a wide variety of ducks depending on the migration patterns.

Species include: Mallards, Gadwall, Widgeon, Shoveler, Pintail, Green Winged Teal / Blue Winged Teal, Black Ducks, and Wood Ducks.

Arkansas Game & Fish limits harvests to 6 ducks per person per day (and only 4 mallards). 


Add an answer to this item.A: For duck and goose hunting in Arkansas, you’ll need the following:

  • Arkansas Hunting License
     
    • Resident hunters need a Resident Sportsman’s License or Waterfowl Permit
       
    • Non-residents need a Non-Resident 5-Day Small Game Hunting License (or annual Non-Resident License)
       
  • Arkansas Waterfowl Stamp
     
  • Federal Duck Stamp (required for all hunters age 16 and older)
     
  • HIP Registration (Harvest Information Program)
     

All licenses, stamps, and registrations can be purchased online at the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission website.


A: Yes. Non-resident hunters must purchase a Non-Resident 5-Day Small Game License for each block of hunting days, in addition to the Arkansas Waterfowl Stamp and Federal Duck Stamp. You’ll also need to register for HIP.


A: Yes - but we strongly recommend purchasing all licenses and stamps before your hunt date to avoid delays. Everything can be purchased and printed online, or accessed through the AGFC mobile app.
